- Заснуть! Скорее заснуть!
На часах полдень. Где снотворное? А сколько надо? Она вытряхнула из банки пару таблеток, не нашла бумажки с подсказкой, побоялась пить. А если сильное? Если мама найдет ее уснувшей? Или что-то случится, а проснуться не получится?
Бросилась на кровать в мокрых джинсах, от злости пометалась из стороны в сторону. Закружилась голова.
«Мне надо уснуть. Надо. Хочу уснуть. – Конечно, хочешь. – Эй, это ты, что ли? – Тихо, сейчас уснешь.»
Опять стало тепло, но теперь уже солнце грело настойчиво, как на пляже в жаркий день. Сон пришел быстро и легко.
Он открыл окно снаружи и спрыгнул внутрь. Подошел, укрыл одеялом и сел рядом, погрузившись в чужой сон.

'Sleep! Sleep fast!'
The clocks show noon. Where are the sleeping pills? But how many do you need? She took two in her hand, but couldn't find the instruction paper and felt afraid to take them. What if they're too strong, and Mom finds her still asleep? Or something happens, and there's no waking up?
She jumped on her bed, her jeans still wet from the rain. Angry, she turned over and over again, until dizzy.
'I need to sleep. Have to. I want to sleep. - Of course you do. - Hey, is that you? - Quiet, you'll fall asleep now.'
It felt warm again, but this time as if the sun burned as on a beach on a hot day. Sleep came, fast and easy.
He opened the window from the outside and jumped into the room. Walked closer, covered her with the blanket and sat down near her, plunging into her dream.
